The GP Patient Survey is an independent survey run by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England. The survey is sent out every year in January, and is sent out to over two million people registered with GP practices in England. The GP Patient Survey is designed to give patients the opportunity to feed back about their experiences of their GP practice.

The results for 2025 were published yesterday and we wanted to share some highlights on the feedback Cedar Practice received.

  • 78% of respondents reported a good overall experience of this GP practice. This is higher than the national average (75%) and the average across North East London (70%).
  • 75% of respondents reported a good overall experience of contacting this GP practice. This is higher than the national average (70%) and the average across North East London (64%).
  • 73% of respondents reported that it is was easy to contact this GP practice on the phone. This is much higher than the national average (53%) and the average across North East London (51%).
  • 65% of respondents reported that it is was easy to contact this GP practice using our website. This is much higher than the national average (51%) and the average across North East London (47%).
  • 61% of respondents reported that it is was easy to contact this GP practice using the NHS App. This is much higher than the national average (49%) and the average across North East London (45%).
  • 87% of respondents reported that the reception and administrative team at this GP practice are helpful. This is higher than the national average (83%) and the average across North East London (77%).
  • 94% of respondents had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to during their last general practice appointment. This is higher than the national average (93%) and the average across North East London (90%).
